Our Franchise, Licensing & Distribution Law group counsels franchisors, distributors and manufacturers regarding risk management policies and procedures to reduce potential liability, and our lawyers work with clients to create business solutions to resolve disputes short of costly litigation.

Since litigation can not always be avoided, our group includes lawyers with substantial experience and expertise in franchise, licensing, and distribution litigation and dispute resolution. Our lawyers are prepared to protect and defend the rights and assets of clients in Ontario and throughout Canada, and with the use of local agents, anywhere in the world. A portion of the firm's extensive litigation practice is devoted to the specialized representation of franchisors, licensors, and distributors.

Our lawyers have successfully handled a wide variety of franchise and distribution disputes, including claims for wrongful termination, breach of contract, tortious interference, fraud and misrepresentation, fraudulent earnings claims, encroachment, unfair competition, trademark infringement, breach of confidentiality covenant, and breach of non-compete covenants.
