Siskinds has been involved with Volvo® Rents Construction Equipment from its commencement of operations in Canada, including such items as:

• Advice on Canadian trademark requirements and procedures.
• Advice on doing business in Canada, including matters relating to structuring Canadian branch operations, Canadian tax, immigration and other legal issues.
• Review of the current form of Uniform Franchise Offering Circular used by Volvo® Rents Construction Equipment in its US franchise operations, and converting and updating the UFOC for use in Canada.
• Review of all standard form franchise documentation used by Volvo® Rents Construction Equipment in its US franchise operations, and converting and updating that documentation for use in Canada.
• Review of the form of Operations Manual used by Volvo® Rents Construction Equipment in its US franchise operations, and converting and updating the Operations Manual for use in Canada.
