He also has extensive experience in matters involving franchise termination, interim and permanent injunctions, enforcement of restrictive covenants and other time sensitive matters and in the development of franchise systems. Having represented both Franchisors and Franchisees in Litigation, he understands that franchisors are not in the business of litigation and therefore brings a results-oriented approach to franchise litigation. He is the current editor of the Franchise Law Newsletter.

Dan has successfully represented clients in both tribunal and court settings and has won cases in various courts including The Superior Court of Justice, The Divisional Court and The Ontario Court of Appeal.
